Turkish President Abdullah Gul called for more investments to Indian and Turkish businessmen in India’s trade, business and culture in the city of Mumbai.
Gul spoke at session with the leaders of the Indian business industry.
He said "India and Turkiye have much in common and the mutual expertise can be used to widen the trade prospects," and added "There is a need to re-discover our relationship."
The Turkish President also opened Turkiye’s Mumbai Consulate, and then after the opening ceremony Gul shook the hands of the many Turkish people gathered.
Meanwhile, Gul also spoke with director of the Turkish School in Mumbai.
The director told Gul they had begun the school nearly five years ago, and Gul replied by saying "Bravo, congratulations, May God help you.
